“CIFTETELLI”
This urban dance originates in the thriving Turkish metropolis of Istanbul, a cosmopolitan blend of various cultures. Despite the fact that this is a relatively modern form of dance, the ciftetelli derives its origins from more ancient styles, such as the karsilama and others. Danced only by females, the ciftetelli is made up of sensuous, undulating movements.
