Mustafa has been performing traditional dances from the Black Sea region of Turkey since the age of 6. In university, he was a dancer and instructor with the Ordu Conservatory, which focused on folk dances from the Black Sea and Caucasus regions. While in college, his performing group received many awards including a first place award at the Turkish Ministry of Culture Folk Dance Competition. In 2002 Mustafa helped to found Mavi Dance. Before his career in Mavi Dance, Mr. Corbaci danced with Collage Dance Ensemble between 2000-2002. Currently he is the co-director of Mavi Dance where he also choreographs.
