Johara is a Middle eastern style Belly Dance performer. choreographer, and instructor in the Boston area since 1997. She has performed as a soloist in Istanubl Turkey, Baaia Brazil, New York City, and LA. Her background in folkloric African based dances: Senegalise, Afro-Latin, and Afro-Carribbean---along with her foundations in western dance and Yoga influence her style. In addition, her background as a Jazz vocalist and percussionist add a rich musicality to her performances and choreographies.
