“SIMD”
This dance is traditionally performed at weddings and other joyous occasions by the Ossete people. The Ossetes are an ancient Iranian people, who live on the border of Georgia and southern Russia. The simd is characterized by controlled, graceful upper body movements, combined with tiny, intricate steps.
