Celil joined Mavi Dance in Spring 2003, playing multiple roles - instructor, musical accompanist, and dancer. An ethnic Georgian from Turkey, Celil has been dancing since age seven. His professional dancing career began at fifteen with the Inegol Kafkas Folk Dance Group. A dedicated dancer, he has performed various Georgian dances at hundreds of performances and festivals in Turkey and abroad. He plays numerous instruments, including the piano, accordion, garmon, doli, organ, and darbuka. He is also an amateur standup comedian, and the 1996 first-prize winner of the "Iner misin, Cikar misin?" program on the Turkish ATV channel.
