Mellissa May Wells, known in the Dance world as "Buffy," began dancing at the age of seven. She received her BA in Education from The Elms College with a concentration in dance (jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, and ballet). She began choreographing in college and started teaching immediately following graduation at several studios, including Ballet Etc. where she became Co-Director. Throughout her career she has performed nationally and internationally with several dance companies. Currently, Mellissa performs with the Reagle Players Theater Co., several local theatre companies.In addition she is on the Board of Directors of Rainbow Tribe Dance Company, Inc., where she served as Co-Director for several years. She is currently the director of Brookline Academy of Dance.
